Endurance Performance Coach
Jay is a performance coach, former professional athlete, and Truckee-based founder of Hybrid Mountain Athlete. A former member of the US National Paddling Team, Jay competed at the international level in stand-up paddling and outrigger canoe racing. That background shapes everything about how he coaches.

WHAT HE DOES
With over 10 years of experience as a CrossFit coach and a Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC), Jay brings a philosophy rooted in fundamentals: moving well allows you to live well. Strength training, walking, running, cycling, picking up the kids..... these aren't extras — they're the foundation of a capable, active life. His work is teaching people to do all of those things correctly, use their mind to overcome adversity, and build the strength capacity to genuinely enjoy being human.
